Mubasher: Avanci has entered into a patent license agreement with Volvo Cars to increase the total number of the auto brands licensed through the Avanci marketplace to 14, BusinessWire reported on Tuesday.

Under the agreement, Volvo will become a licensee of Avanci’s 2G, 3G, and 4G essential patents of both current and future patent owners.

Commenting on this, Avanci’s founder and CEO, Kasim Alfalahi, said, “This agreement continues a very successful 2019 for Avanci, a year in which overall participation in our licensing marketplace has doubled."
