EGX’s indices end lower on Tuesday

Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices declined at Tuesday’s close, as market capitalisation lost EGP 4.11 billion.

The benchmark index, EGX30, shed 0.5% to close at 13,469 points, while EGX70 went down by 0.96% to 521.87 points.

The EGX100 index decreased by 0.67% to 1,367 points, and the equally-weighted EGX50 index sank 0.72% to 1,933 points.

Market capitalisation shrank by EGP 4.11 billion to EGP 688.41 billion on Tuesday, compared to EGP 692.52 billion in the previous session.

The EGX’s trading volume reached 141.36 million shares, while the market’s liquidity amounted to EGP 1.33 billion.
