Cairo – Mubasher: The Banking and Stock Exchange Committee at the Egyptian Businessmen Association (EBA) will hold a symposium under the title “Export Credit Risk Guarantee Company in Africa” on 17 December, according to a statement on Wednesday.

The symposium will bring together officials from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) to discuss the company’s action plan and how can exporters benefit from the company to achieve the state’s target volume of exports, which will, in turn, bring more foreign currency to the country, Hassan Hussein, head of the Banking and Stock Exchange Committee, said.   

It is noteworthy that the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) approved the establishment of an export credit risk guarantee company with a total capital of $600 million to finance exports to African countries.
