Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index grew 16.92 points, or 0.63%, to close at 2,695.62 points on Wednesday.

Market capitalisation increased to AED 366.1 billion shares on Wednesday, compared to AED 364.31 billion in the previous session.

The consumer staples sector added 1.64%, while the investment, banking, and services sectors went up by 1.46%, 1.57%, and 0.9%, respectively. The real estate sector shed 0.63%.

Emirates NBD added 2.56%, Dubai Investments gained 2.37%, and DXB Entertainments rose by 1.95%. Arabtec Holding increased by 0.81% and Dubai Islamic Bank grew 0.75%.

On the other hand, Damac Properties lost 1.28% and Emaar Properties decreased by 0.97%.

The DFM’s trading volume hit 127.97 million shares, while the market’s liquidity reached AED 308 million.
