Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday in losses amidst a decline in liquidity.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell by 0.15%, or 11.83%, and closed at 7,871.2 points.

Today’s session saw a decline in traded values to SAR 2.29 billion, compared with SAR 2.55 billion on Tuesday, while volumes reached 102.35 million shares, down from 103.27 million traded shares yesterday.

In its first day on Tadawul, Baazeem Trading led the session’s declining stocks and dropped 9.98%, followed by Raydan and Abo Moati with 7.4% and 5.25%, respectively.

Thimar was the session’s top gainer and added 8.76%, while Tabuk and Sadafco went up by 5.36% and 5.14%, in that order.

Dar Al Arkan was the most actively traded stock with 10.43 million shares, while Al Rajhi logged the highest turnover at SAR 314.1 million.

As for the market sectors performance, energy and banks lost 0.84% and 0.35%, while materials and telecom added 0.5% and 0.46%, respectively.

Meanwhile, the main index of the parallel market (NOMU) plunged by 13.94%, or 1,068 points, and ended Wednesday’s trading session at 6,595.9 points.
