Boursa Kuwait ends Thursday in green
Kuwait’s equities settled higher on Thursday

Mubasher: Kuwait’s equities settled higher on Thursday, having started the session with declines led by telecoms and bank stocks.

The All-Share Market index shed 0.23%, or 13.6 points to 6,038.35 points, as the Premier Market and Main Market indices advanced by 0.17% and 0.38% respectively.

Boursa Kuwait’s liquidity grew by 6.7% to KWD 32.47 million, compared with KWD 30.44 million reached by the end of Wednesday session.

Trading volume totalled 274.44 million shares, a 13.8% growth from 241.18 million shares in the preceding session.

In terms of sectors, indices of six sectors rallied, with the telecoms at the forefront, having recorded a gain of 0.64%, whereas five sectors posted losses, with the biggest loss recorded by oil and gas at 1.56%.

KAMCO Investment was the top performer during the day, having climbed by 9.41%, while Energy House Holding recorded the sharpest drop, with its stocks losing 16.43%.

Aayan Leasing and Investment, whose shares settled 12.73% lower, logged the highest volume and liquidity, with 121.49 million shares exchanged via 1,518 deals at KWD 6.11 million.
