DFM loses 17 pts in week; Market cap hits AED 365.7bn
The consumer staples sector went down by 2.43%

Dubai – Mubasher: The Dubai Financial Market’s (DFM) general index shed 17.01 points, or 0.63%, to reach 2,694.71 points in a week.

Market capitalisation grew to AED 365.68 billion over the week, compared to AED 364.31 billion in the previous week.

The consumer staples sector went down by 2.43%, the real estate sector declined by 1.13%, the banking sector lost 0.36%, and the services sector decreased by 0.22%. The investment sector added 1.96%.

Emaar Properties dropped 0.72%, Emirates NBD lost 0.42%, and Dubai Islamic Bank sank 0.37%.

On the other hand, Arabtec Holding added 0.81% and Dubai Investments gained 0.79%.
