Banks weigh on DFM at Sunday's close
Emirates NBD was the top decliner with 2.09%

Dubai – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) levelled down by 0.03% or 0.82 points at the end of Sunday’s trading session, closing at 2,693.89 points.

The bourse’s turnover recorded AED 190.31 million where 200.56 million shares were traded through 2,863 transactions.

The market cap value added AED 280 million to stand at AED 365.96 billion from AED 365.68 billion on Thursday.

The banks sector dropped by 1.18%, while the consumer staples sector rose by 5.80%.

At the level of stocks, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) edged down by 0.56%, while DXB Entertainments went up by 6.90%. 

Emirates NBD was the top decliner with 2.09%, whereas Arabtec Holding led the gainers with 14.40%.

Arabtec Holding saw the highest trading value and volume after  23.08 million shares were exchanged at a turnover of AED 31.54 million.
