Faisal Islamic Bank’s business volume expands 14% in November
Faisal Bank's business volume grew to EGP 102.680 million

Cairo – Mubasher: Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt saw its business volume expanding by 14.1% by the end of November to EGP 102.680 billion, from EGP 90 billion a year ago, the bank’s financial indicators showed.

The bank’s assets grew to EGP 100.93 billion at the end of last November from EGP 88.48 billion in the same month a year earlier, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.

Moreover, current accounts and savings schemes ran by Faisal Bank rose by 13.4% to EGP 84.93 million last month, from EGP 74.90 million.

This was accompanied by a growth in the number of current accounts and saving schemes, which totalled 1.717 million.

Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt posted a net profit of EGP 2.07 billion in the first nine months of 2019, compared EGP 1.96 billion in the same nine months of the preceding year.

In addition, the bank’s revenues amounted EGP 4.98 billion, rising year-on-year from EGP 4.6 billion.
