Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) levelled up by 0.4%, or 20.10 points, to close at 5,040.23 points at the end of Wednesday’s trading session, snapping a four-session downturn.
The bourse’s turnover recorded AED 294.35 million after 189.03 million shares were traded through about 1,250 transactions.
The banks segment increased by 0.28%, whereas the energy segment inched down by 0.06%.
Umm Al Qaiwain General Investment Company came on top of the risers with 8.43%, while Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) went up by 1.07%.
Meanwhile, Aldar Properties and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) edged higher by 0.46% and 0.17%, respectively.
