Various Saudi entrepreneurs and startups are participating in ArabNet Riyadh 2019

Riyadh – Mubasher: ArabNet Riyadh 2019 has showcased a number of Saudi initiatives and startups that signals the Kingdom’s digital transformation under the umbrella of the futuristic Vision 2030.

Mubasher explored some of the exhibiting companies and initiatives that grabbed the attention of attendees and experts from various industries.

Aqar Chain

The first trademarked Saudi company to apply automation in the real estate sector using blockchain technology, through an online platform that provides investments opportunities in the era of digital currencies and smart contracts.

Eliaa

A Saudi startup specialized in the field of manufacturing ihram clothing, worn by pilgrims, that uses nanotechnology to make bacteria resistant washable 100% cotton fabrics.

The company won multiple awards in Saudi Arabia, Russia, Cyprus and Japan.

Islah

Islah (Arabic for fixing) is an application that aims at facilitating car repairs, by providing the best service providers with best prices for users to choose from, allowing the rating of mechanics and repair shops.

Trade Stars

A virtual game that simulates the Nasdaq exchange and allows users to trade stocks simulating real-life athletes.

Future Games

A mobile development startup that designs games and applications for smartphones.

Beautysky

An application that makes one of the largest online markets for cosmetics, makeup and perfumes, in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

ShareUapp

A free application that provides a digital business card, to share personal information and contacts through par codes. It now has more than 100,000 users.

Wee

A Saudi startup that tackles traffic jams and pollution by introducing smart scooters for shorter and faster commutes, in a way similar to modern ride-hailing applications.
