Mubasher: The Bahrain Bourse’s general index grew by 20.1 points, or 1.3% week-on-week, to reach 1,567.41 points in a week.

The banking sector added 2.29%, while the services sector gained 0.23. The industrial sector declined by 0.18% and the investment sector inched down 0.07%.

Trading volume decreased by 12.6% WoW to 20.35 million shares over the second week of December, compared to 23.29 million in the previous week.

Meanwhile, liquidity levelled down 12.6% WoW to BHD 6.15 million, from BHD 7.42 million.
