Mubasher: A Kuwaiti court of first instance rejected a case filed by Mobile Telecommunications (Zain) with the undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Finance Ministry over the national labour support tax for the year 2010.

Zain will appeal the court’s ruling, the telecoms company said in a statement to Boursa Kuwait.

Zain demanded dropping the decision on tax appeals against the backdrop of a demand by the Finance Ministry for the company to pay KWD 23.95 million.
