Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) has recommended the distribution of SAR 6.6 billion in cash dividends to shareholders for the second half (H2) of 2019.

With the number of eligible shares standing at 3 billion shares, dividends will be distributed at SAR 2.2 per share or 22% of the share’s par value, according to a statement by SABIC to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Wednesday.

The recommendation is subject to the approval of the company’s next general assembly meeting.

Dates for the next meeting and the dividends distribution are yet to be announced.
