Egypt’s oil daily output hits lowest level since July 2009
The North African nation’s oil output reached about 602,580 bpd in the tenth month of 2019

Cairo – Mubasher: Oil production in Egypt declined by about 26,600 barrels per day (bpd), or 4.2%, month-on-month in October, according to data released by the Joint Organisations Data Initiative (JODI).

The North African nation’s oil output reached about 602,580 bpd in the tenth month of 2019, compared to around 629,200 bpd in September, registering the lowest daily oil output since July 2009 when it reached around 556,050 bpd. 

Total oil production reached 18.67 million during October, according to statistics conducted by Mubasher.

The most populous Arab nation produces about 55-60% of its total requirements of petroleum products and the remaining amount is imported from international suppliers and agents.

Since the beginning of 2019, Egypt’s oil production has retreated 2.2% from about 643,570 bpd in December 2018.
