Cairo – Mubasher: Japan's Toyota Tsusho will manufacture 240,000 natural gas-powered minibuses in collaboration with the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), according to a statement by Egypt's Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation on Thursday. 

A delegation from the Japanese giant carmaker has commended the incentives included in Egypt’s Investment Law as well as its recent amendments, encouraging investors and international companies to pump new investments in the Egyptian market.

Moreover, the announcement comes on the sidelines of the meeting held between Egypt’s investment and international cooperation minister, Sahar Nasr, and Toyota Tsusho’s delegation regarding the manufacture of natural gas-powered minibuses instead of diesel-powered microbuses.

The delegation further expressed its interest in benefiting from promising opportunities in Egypt.
