Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SACC) has signed a contract with Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) to design, construct, and operate Alfursan Domestic lounge in the New King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

The ten-year agreement has a provisional value estimated at SAR 308 million, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).

SACC expects the deal have positive effects starting from the first quarter (Q1) of 2020, as it will boost business sustainability by increasing the cash flow and enhancing its business relationship with Saudia, the statement noted.

Meanwhile, SACC announced that it will be an official sponsor of the Saudi Dakar Rally 2020, which will be held for the first time in Saudi Arabia and Asia on 5-17 January 2020, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The Saudi airlines recently renewed its flight catering agreement with SACC for SAR 12 billion.

It is worth noting that Saudia is one of the major shareholders of SACC.
