Mubasher: The market cap value of Boursa Kuwait inched down by 0.53% at the end of Sunday’s trading session.
The market cap decreased by KWD 184 million ($608.75 million) to KWD 34.464 billion ($114.02 billion) from KWD 34.648 billion ($114.63 billion) by the end of the trading session on Tuesday, 31 December 2020.
This decline coincides with the sharp fall of Boursa Kuwait on Sunday, due to the accelerating geopolitical incidents in the region and the intensifying US-Iran conflict.
Capital market analysis, Nizar Younes, told Mubasher that he expects the decrease in the regions’ markets to continue this week, led by Boursa Kuwait, unless the escalating crisis between the US and Iran is handled.
