The MoU signing ceremony

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi-based International Systems Engineering (ISE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nutanix, a US-based cloud computing software company, to jointly remove the obstacles of the traditional approaches of the IT market and ensure the integrity of information.

The MoU demonstrates the parties’ efforts in accelerating the realization of the Saudi Vision 2030’s National Transformation Program’s (NTP) goals, according to a press release issued on Monday.

Under the deal, ISE will offer Nutanix its preferred technology vendor status and will mainly position Nutanix solutions for its potential and existing external and internal opportunities when applicable.

On the other hand, Nutanix will help ISE in developing and certifying its staff skills to provide design and configuration. Furthermore, it will assist ISE in the execution of its Nutanix opportunities by offering its skilled and suitably security cleared resources.

Moreover, Nutanix will allow Saudi enterprises through ISE to transfer to their hybrid cloud journey and thus contribute to the government’s overall vision of developing the Kingdom’s digital competence, he added.

ISE CEO, Majid Al Muzairi, noted that "At present, we are involved in a number of critical national infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. We believe that partnering with Nutanix will complete our solutions portfolio and plug the gap when it comes to providing the best cloud computing solutions for our customers."

The agreement was signed by Mohammed Alghailani, VP Strategy and Business Operations at ISE and Mohammad Abulhouf, country manager - Saudi and Bahrain at Nutanix.

Commenting on the MoU, country manager - Saudi and Bahrain at Nutanix, Mohammad Abulhouf, said, “Developing a digital economy means that both, public as well as private enterprises, need to embark on digital transformation initiatives and in this scenario, having a well-defined cloud computing strategy is  imperative.”
