Dubai– Mubasher: The Emirati cabinet has approved Air Arabia Abu Dhabi to be the country’s national airline carrier, Emirates News Agency (WAM) recently reported.

The decision aims to enhance the civil aviation activity across the country while promoting the sector to keep pace with future development plans.

Moreover, the mandate reflects the government’s efforts in supporting and improving the aviation sector and all related subsidiaries in line with the comprehensive development plans occurring throughout the country.

This announcement came during the cabinet's first meeting in 2020 that was presided over by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
