ADX down, loses AED 3.73bn market cap on Wednesday
The market’s liquidity registered AED 81.24 million on Wednesday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched down by 0.74% after losing 37.38 points at Wednesday’s close, settling at 5,019.36 points.

The market’s liquidity registered AED 81.24 million where 24.93 million shares were traded through 1,156 transactions. 

The market cap value decreased by AED 3.73 billion to reach AED 516.45 billion from AED 520.18 billion on Tuesday.

The banks segment topped the fallers with 0.81%, followed by the energy and telecom sectors with 0.69% and 0.61%, respectively.

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) came on top of the decliners with 10%, whereas Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) headed the gainers with 8.02%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), down 1.06%, logged the highest liquidity of AED 24.29 million, while Aldar Properties, down 0.48%, led the trading activity through the exchange of 5.90 million shares.
