Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Index of Industrial Production (IIP) declined by 4.3% on a monthly basis during last November.
The monthly bulletin by the General Authority for Statistics (GaStat) for November showed that the index recorded 125.12 points, compared to its reading in October 2019 at 130.71 points.
A decline in the mining and quarrying activity, which includes crude oil production, by 4.1% on a monthly basus.
Meanwhile, transformative industries activity went down by 3.3%, while power generation decreased by 21.4%.
It is worth noting that the index rose by 7.5% in October to 130.71 points, compared to its level in September at 121.55 points.
