DFM ends Thursday in green
The turnover registered AED 219.33 million on Thursday

Dubai – Mubasher: The general index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 1.32% or 35.78 points at Thursday’s close, settling at 2,749.26 points.

The turnover registered AED 219.33 million after 185.35 million shares were traded through 3,324 transactions.

Meanwhile, the market cap value soared to AED 373.50 billion, up by AED 3.78 billion from AED 369.72 billion on Wednesday.

The consumer staples segment went up by 2.07%, followed by the real estate as well as the investment and financial services sectors with 1.96% and 1.56%, respectively.

Khaleeji Commercial Bank topped 26 winners with 11.25%, whereas Dar Al Takaful led two losers with 5.57%.

Moreover, Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) achieved the highest turnover of AED 49.50 million, while Union Properties led the trading activity with 53.30 million shares.

The blue chip stock of Damac Properties added 3.86%, followed by Arabtec Holding with 2.54%.
