Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait ended Thursday’s trading session collectively high, amid a boom in trading and calm geopolitical tensions.
The Premier Market index increased by 1.92%, while the All-Share and Main markets rose 1.77% and 1.34%, respectively.
Liquidity jumped to around KWD 68.88 million, compared to KWD 55.42 million on Wednesday, 8 January.
Meanwhile, the trading volume levelled up to 215.02 million shares after recording 151.27 million shares in the previous session.
Today’s trading session has not witnessed a decline in any sectors, yet ten segments rose, led by the oil and gas with 3.05%.
As for the stocks, Future Kid Entertainment and Real Estate topped the gainers with 13.38%, while Burgan Company for Well Drilling, Trading, and Maintenance led the losers with 9.72%.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) recorded the highest trading volume of 21.39 million shares at a value of KWD 17.15 million.
