UAE – Mubasher: The tenth session of the Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) began on Saturday in the UAE’s capital, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

With the participation of over 1500 high-ranking personalities, the two-day event features three ministerial meetings covering key issues relevant to the adoption of sustainable energy sources.

Participants are set to discuss renewable energy policies, investment and technology.

IRENA’s tenth session takes place ahead of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the World Future Energy Summit which are held from 13 to 16 January 2020 and features a number of events hosted by IRENA.
