ADX closes Monday higher; turnover records AED 146.7m
Sudatel Telecom Group was the top rising stock with 5.88%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched up by 0.59% or 29.78 points at the end of Monday’s trading session, settling at 5,113.75 points.

The trading volume amounted to 46.35 million shares exchanged through 1,291 transactions, registering a liquidity worth AED 146.66 million.

Moreover, the market cap value gained AED 2.56 billion to reach AED 525.93 billion from AED 523.37 billion on Sunday.

The energy segment rose by 1.08%, followed by the banks sector with 0.75%, whereas the telecom index remained unchanged.

Sudatel Telecom Group was the top riser with 5.88%, whereas Arkan Building Materials Company led the fallers with 5.71%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) achieved the highest turnover of AED 30.25 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock through the exchange of 11.8 million shares.

The blue-chip stock of Dana Gas went up by 2.22%, followed by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) with 1.27%.
