TASI rises for fourth day in row to 5M-high
The benchmark index closed at its highest level since 21 August 2019

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) recorded its fourth consecutive daily gains on Tuesday, supported by the rise of major market sectors.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) went up by 0.4% or 33.67 points and closed at the level of 8,474.81 points, its highest level since 21 August 2019.

The materials sector added 0.65%, while the banks and energy indices went up 0.5% and 0.1%, respectively.

On the other hand, the real estate sector led to five falling sectors and lost 0.7%, while telecom slid 0.17%.

Axa Cooperative led the 126 rising stocks and surged by 9.5%, while Dar Al Arkan was the top loser and dropped 3.6%.

Liquidity increased to SAR 4.5 billion, compared with SAR 4.4 billion yesterday, while volumes reached 206.94 million shares, compared with 189.6 million shares on Monday.

Dar Al Arkan was the most actively traded stock with 23.21 million shares, while Saudi Aramco logged the highest turnover with SAR 357.3 million.

Aramco closed the session at SAR 34.85, rising by 0.29%.

Meanwhile, the Nomu Parallel Market lost 3.2% and closed today’s trading session at 6,807.18 points.
