UAE – Mubasher: The UAE’s Ministry of Energy and Industry (MOEI) on Tuesday signed three contracts during the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) which is held on 13-16 January 2020 in Abu Dhabi, the ministry posted on Twitter.

The Emirati energy ministry signed a contract for the development of the UAE’s geothermal atlas.

The agreement comes in line with the UAE’s endeavours to diversify energy resources and achieve energy efficiency and sustainability.

The MOEI also signed a contract for the drawing of the hydrological map of Dubai and the Northern Area which helps in the evaluation of the UAE’s water resources.

Moreover, the third contract is aimed at the design and development of the UAE’s water resources atlas.
