Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday’s trading session up by 0.37% or 10.29 points at 2,828.28 points.
The market’s turnover registered AED 309.70 million as 174.96 million shares were exchanged through 2,782 transactions.
As for the market cap, the bourse gained AED 1.64 billion to reach AED 381.70 billion from AED 380.06 billion on Wednesday.
The banks instrument went up by 1.37%, followed by the consumer staples segment with 1.06%, whereas the real estate sector was the only faller by 0.91%.
Ithmaar Holding topped 13 winners with 3.01%, whereas Al Salam Group Holding headed 13 losers with 9.88%.
Moreover, Emirates NBD achieved the highest turnover of AED 80.51 million, while Al Salam Group Holding led the trading activity through the exchange of 33.06 million shares.
The leading stock of DXB Entertainments rose by 2.25%, whereas Emaar Properties went down by 1.42%.
