Mubasher: The Boursa Kuwait’s indices rose during the third week of January, with market capitalisation gained KWD 679 million.

The All-Share Market index went up by 121 points, or 1.94%, to 6,351.2 points, while the Premier Market index added 160 points, or 2.31%, to 7,089.5 points.

The Main Market index increased by 40.5 points, or 0.84%, to reach 4,886.1 points.

Market capitalisation rose to KWD 36.177 billion over the week, compared to KWD 35.498 billion in the previous week.

Trading volume declined by 35.1% to 615.25 million shares, while liquidity shrank 46.7% to KWD 154.2 million.
