Cairo – Mubasher: SEMAF Factory, owned by the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), plans to increase its production of railroad cars to 1,000 from 300 per year, the factory’s chairman Ismail Nagdy said.

The plan includes developing the research and design sector and improving the skills of engineers and technical workers by providing them with internal and external training, Nagdy added in a statement on Sunday.

Covering an area of 150,000 square metres, the factory comprises 36 industrial facilities.

By October 2020, SEMAF Factory is set to be completely upgraded to the highest international standards, AOI’s chairman Abdel Moneim Al-Tarras noted.
