Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has sold 91- and 273-day treasury bills (T-bills) valued at EGP 18.019 billion on Sunday, surpassing the target of EGP 14.5 billion.
With an average yield of 14.391%, 273-day notes were sold at EGP 17.48 billion, more than the target by EGP 6.985 billion, according to data shown on the CBE’s official website.
The CBE also sold 91-day notes valued at EGP 533 million, less than the target by EGP 3.466 billion, with an average yield of 14.023%.
