Riyadh – Mubasher: The First Saudi Accountants Forum (SAF) will be held on 27-29 January 2020, under the patronage of the Saudi Minister of Commerce and Investment Majid Al Qasabi.

SAF is organized by the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA), Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The event will be held on the sidelines of the G20 meetings at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC).

More than 50 international and local speakers and experts are expected at the forum’s dialogue sessions, while the accompanying exhibition will host 150 government and private sector entities.

More than 120 workshops, ministerial meetings and specialized seminars will be held in Saudi Arabia throughout the year, as Saudi Arabia assumed the G20 presidency last December will host the G20 Leaders’ Summit in Riyadh on 21-22 November 2020.

Recently, a research note expected an additional 0.2% will be added to the Saudi non-oil private-sector gross domestic product (GDP) as a result of hosting the G20 summit.
