Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreaded by 0.55% or 28.72 points to 5,184.53 points, compared to its positive performance on Monday, 21 January.
A total of 26.38 million shares were traded through 827 transactions at a value of AED 118.81 million.
The market cap lost AED 420,000, reaching AED 536.03 billion from AED 536.45 billion in the previous session.
The real estate sector decreased by 0.84%, followed by the telecommunications with 0.24%, while the energy segment was the only gainer with 0.75%.
Arkan Building Materials Company’s stock hit its lowest level with 8.75%, while International Holdings Company recorded the highest level with 14.98%.
Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) registered the highest turnover of AED 24.60 million, while Aldar Properties, down 0.89%, posted the highest trading value of 5.48 million shares while topping the risers.
Moreover, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) lost 0.35% and Emirates Telecommunication Group (Etisalat) was down by 0.24%.
As for the rising blue chips, ADNOC Distribution levelled up by 0.96%, followed by Dana Gas with 0.87% and ADCB with 0.12%.
