Energy sector index went down by 0.14% as Aramco declined by the same percentage

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) returned to losses on Tuesday’s, after rising on Monday, ending today’s trading session in red.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) closed at 8,445.33 points, losing 0.29% or 24.38 points.

Traded volumes amounted to 174.82 million shares, with a turnover of SAR 3.66 billion.

As for the market sectors performance, ten sectors closed in the red zone, led by banks that declined by 0.59%, while materials and energy went down by 0.44% and 0.21%, respectively.

On the other hand, commercial services led the other ten rising sectors as it added 1.1%, while telecom levelled up by 0.14%.

SISCO topped the losing stocks and went down by 3.98%, while Al Yamamah Steel logged the highest gains and surged by 8.26%.

Saudi Aramco recorded the highest turnover at SAR 242.52 million, before closing down 0.14% at SAR 34.55, while Dar Al Arkan was the most actively traded stock with 20.17 million shares.

Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market gained 1.18% and closed at 7,209.93 points.
