Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) has been selected as the UAE’s most valuable brand for the second year in a row by Brand Finance, the world’s leading independent brand valuation and consultancy.
The value of ADNOC’s brand increased by 28.6% year-on-year to around $11.39 billion (AED 41.83 billion) in 2020, and by 145% since the launch of its transformation strategy in 2017, according to a statement on Wednesday.
This makes ADNOC’s brand the Middle East’s fastest growing brand and the first UAE brand to break the $10 billion mark.
For the first time, ADNOC was also listed among the top ten most valuable oil and gas brands worldwide.
Meanwhile, the group CEO, Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, was awarded the highest ranking among both the CEOs in the MENA region and national oil companies for promoting ADNOC’s brand.
