UAE’s surplus up to AED 66.3bn in 9M-19
The rise in surplus resulted from AED 359.2 billion increase in revenues

UAE – Mubasher: The UAE’s surplus went up by 0.04% to AED 66.32 billion ($18 billion) during the first nine months of 2019, compared to AED 66 billion in the same period in 2018, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported according to the government’s consolidated financial data.

The rise in surplus resulted from AED 359.2 billion increase in revenues during the January-September period in 2019, while expenses amounted to around AED 292.88 billion, up by 4.2% from AED 281.1 billion in the same nine months in 2018.

The revenues constituted around 75.2% of the total AED 477.634 billion revenues in 2018, while expenses accounted for 75.4% of the total expenses in 2018.

At the same time, the government data referred to a 3.5% growth in revenues in the January-September period in 2019, compared to AED 347.15 billion in the same nine months in 2018.
