TASI ends Thursday in red amid higher liquidity
Alinma Bank led TASI in terms of turnover with SAR 254.802 million

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Thursday’s trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell for the third consecutive session in a row, losing 41.86 points, or 0.5%, to end the session at 8,386.35 points.

Trading volume rose to 181.02 million shares on Thursday, compared to 170.015 million on Wednesday, while the market’s trading value grew to SAR 4.11 billion from SAR 3.65 billion in the previous session.

Emirates Telecommunication Group (Etisalat) led the decliners with 4.7%, followed by Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (Yansab) which slid by 2.89%.

Meanwhile, Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group topped the gainers after advancing by 9.95%, while Saudi Industrial Services Company (SISCO) added 5.82%.

Alinma Bank led TASI in terms of turnover with SAR 254.802 million, while Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development registered the highest trading volume of 17.06 million shares.

The telecoms sector headed the fallers with 3.93%, while the basic materials and banks sectors went down by 0.55% and 0.07%, respectively.
