Lebanese dollar gov’t bonds tumble on Friday
2020 bond due in April fell 2.7 cents

Mubasher: A group of Lebanese dollar government bonds plunged on Friday, seeing record-low levels, according to Reuters. 

The country’s 2020 bond due in April fell 2.7 cents to reach $0.775, while 2020 bond due in April levelled down 1.6 cents each to stand at $0.45 and $0.40, respectively.

Lebanon’s new Finance Minister Ghazi Wazni is set to meet a top International Monetary Fund official (IMF) to discuss the country’s economic crisis.
