Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The general index of the Abdu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) increased by 64.54 points, or 1.25%, to 5,244.68 points in a week, boosted by First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) which added 1.55%.
Market capitalisation grew by AED 8.74 billion to reach AED 542.35 billion over the week, compared to AED 533.61 billion in the previous week.
The banking and energy sectors jumped 1.23% and 0.79%, respectively. On the other hand, the real estate sector shed 1.63% and the telecom sector stabilised.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank jumped 4.88%, while Adnoc Distribution and Dana Gas grew by 1.61% and 1.52%, respectively.
At the other end of the spectrum, Taqa lost 3.97%, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank sank 1.23%, and Etisalat fell 0.12%.
