Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is looking to take part in establishing the Inga Dam project in Congo and operating a joint electricity grid with the African country.
Moreover, the most populous Arab nation's minister of electricity and renewable energy Mohamed Shaker will discuss with Congo’s state officials the possibility of getting Egyptian companies involved in building joint energy projects in Congo, according to a statement on Sunday.
This will be during the Egyptian electricity minister's visit to Congo, heading a high-level delegation of officials in the electricity sector as well as Egyptian private-sector companies operating in the energy sector.
