TASI ends Sunday in red; turnover falls to SAR 3.47bn
Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group topped the gainers

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell for the fourth session in a row at the end of Sunday’s trading session, shedding 59.38 points or 0.17% to 8,326.97 points.  

The market’s trading volume retreated to 175.165 million shares on Sunday from 181.017 million on Thursday, while TASI’s turnover dropped to SAR 3.47 billion, compared to SAR 4.11 billion in the previous session.

Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group topped the gainers after adding 9.9%, while Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co headed the losers and slid by 4.3%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development Co led TASI in terms of trading volume and value with 35.61 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 343.334 million.

The food and beverages sector was the top decliner with 1.30%, while the basic materials and banks setcors retreated 0.98% and 0.95%, respectively.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, advanced by 214.58 points or 2.98% to 7,407 points.

National Building and Marketing Co was Nomu’s best performer with 8.9%, while Al-Omran Industrial Trading Co was Nomu’s worst performer after falling by 4.52%.
