Tadawul prolongs losing streak; closes Tuesday in red
TASI ended Tuesday's session at 8,166 points

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) maintained its downward trend for the sixth consecutive session, and ended Tuesday’s trading in decline.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) lost 0.15% or 12.39 points and closed at the level of 8,166.08 points.

Traded volumes decreased to 133.754 million shares, compared with 174.68 million shares on Monday, with a total turnover of SAR 3.85 billion through 161,340 transactions.

MedGulf topped 116 declining stocks and dropped by 8.87%, while Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes was the biggest gainer, among 67 rising stocks, and went up by 5.6%.

Al Rajhi registered the highest turnover with SAR 263.17 million, while Dar Al Arkan was the most actively traded stock with 9.34 million shares.

As for the sectors’ performance, banks and materials fell by 0.21% and 0.01%, respectively, while energy gained 0.33%.

Similarly, the Nomu-Parallel Market lost 3.61% and closed at 7,083.55 points.
