Cairo – Mubasher: The total cost of the third line of Cairo Metro is totalling around EGP 97 billion, Egyptian transport minister Kamel Elwazir stated on Tuesday.

Moreover, the total cost of the third phase of the third line is EGP 32.8 billion, the minister said, according to a statement.

The second part of the fourth phase of is underway and scheduled to be opened in April 2020, he added.

It is worth noting that the third phase of the third line of Cairo Metro stretches along 17.7 kilometres and includes 15 stations.
