Tadawul recovers some losses; closes Wednesday in green
TASI gained 19 points on Wednesday and advanced to 8,185.51 points

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday’s trading session in the green zone, returning to gains after six consecutive declines.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose by 0.24% or 19.43 points and closed at 8,185.51 points.

Traded values increased to SAR 3.74 billion, compared with SAR 3.2 billion yesterday, while volumes increased to 143 million shares, up from 133.75 million shares on Tuesday.

As for the market sectors’ performance, banks and energy added 0.67% and 0.32%, respectively, while materials and telecom lost 0.73% and 0.49%, in that order.

Today’s session saw 124 stocks close in green, while 57 stocks closed in red, and 14 remained unchanged.

MetLife led the rising stocks and surged by 9.95%, while Southern Cement topped the losers and declined by 3.2%.

SABIC logged the highest turnover with SAR 317.1 million, while Alinma was the most actively traded stock with 12.13 million shares.

In the meantime, the Nomu-Parallel Market went down by 0.36% or 25.8 points, and closed at 7,057.75 points.
