Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited financial results of the General Company for Silos and Storage showed a slight increase in its net profits during the first half of fiscal year 2019/2020.

Net profits inched up to EGP 49.21 million in the July-December period of 2019, compared to EGP 49.2 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday. 

In the meantime, revenues grew to EGP 199.4 million in H1 of FY19/20 from EGP 196.6 million in the prior-year period.

It is noteworthy that during the first quarter of FY19/20, the company’s net profits fell to EGP 29.74 million, compared to EGP 32.38 million in the same period of FY18/19.
