UAE – Mubasher: Revenues of hotel establishments operating in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi grew by 3.5% year-on-year during the fourth quarter of 2019.

The emirate’s hotel revenue increased to AED 1.84 billion in Q4-19, from AED 1.774 billion in the year-ago period, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Thursday.

“The growth is reflective of the high performance of the sector since the beginning of the year and the increasing tourist volume in the UAE capital thanks to its integrated infrastructure and multi-faceted sightseeing attractions,” WAM said.

Moreover, hotel guests rose to 1.338 million in the three-month period ended 31 December 2019, whereas occupancy rate recorded 79.6%.
