Mubasher: The US authorities are interviewing iPhone app developers as part of its investigation into Apple, one of the four major tech companies probed for alleged anti-competitive behaviour, Reuters reported on Tuesday.
A group of app developers have been contracted by the US Justice Department in the light of an investigation revealed in June.
Moreover, Apple said that its app store was designed to hold apps to a high standard for privacy, security and content.
The American president Donald Trump had called for closer scrutiny of social media companies and Google and accused them of suppressing conservative voices online.
It is worth highlighting that US Attorney General William Barr said in December that he hoped to have the Justice Department investigations into the big tech platforms, including Facebook, Alphabet, Google, Amazon.com, and Apple.
