UAE – Mubasher: Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of Etihad Aviation Group, has signed a partnership agreement with WebCargo by Freightos, the largest air cargo eBooking platform worldwide, to expand its digital air cargo reach to over 1,700 logistics providers globally.

Under the agreement, WebCargo will offer Etihad Cargo booking schedules, promotional rates, and eBooking to expedite the process of booking air freight at forwarders.

The head of technology and innovation at Etihad Cargo, Rory Fidler, said: “Our latest API capabilities will facilitate the roll-out of our product through WebCargo over the next couple of months and they will become a key partner in strengthening our digital connection to forwarders around the world with a special emphasis on European markets.”

Meanwhile, the CEO at WebCargo, Manel Galindo, remarked: “Digital Air Cargo is going to become an industry norm and WebCargo is proud to be leading the movement with innovative industry partners like Etihad Cargo.”
