ADX witnesses downward performance on Tuesday
First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreated by 0.39% or 20 points to 5,073.38 points by the end of Tuesday’s trading session, unlike its positive performance on Monday, 10 February.

A total of 52.39 million shares were traded through 1,165 transactions at a value of AED 158.21 million.

The market cap value fell by around AED 2.82 billion to AED 528.87 billion from AED 531.69 billion in the previous session.

Meanwhile, the telecommunications sector topped the decliners with 1.48%, while the energy segment led the risers with 0.15%.

Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) headed the losers with 6.44%, while AXA Green Crescent Insurance Company led the gainers with 15%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 64.49 million, while Invest Bank posted the highest trading volume of 21.09 million shares.

Regarding the losing blue chips, Emirates Telecommunication Group (Etisalat) came on top of the list with 1.48 %. Meanwhile, Dana Gas was the rising blue chip with 1%.
